Reynolds Christmas Lights Transitions to Conner Prairie

July 24, 2019
Today, Gary Reynolds, the Reynolds family and I joined with the team at Conner Prairie to announce that we will transition our annual Christmas Lights display from our Fishers store location to Conner Prairie effective this Christmas season. Our lights will become the cornerstone of the Museum's new Christmas festival entitled, “A Merry Prairie Holiday.” Transitioning our Christmas lights to Conner Prairie ensures our tradition of celebrating Christmas with lights will not only continue but will grow as part of a larger, more interactive experience at Conner Prairie.
With roadway construction underway for the next few years near our Fishers store, visitors to our Christmas light display were certain to experience significant challenges getting to and enjoying our lights. As we looked to identify how best to continue the tradition with minimum disruption to the community, we identified not just a short-term solution, but a long-term home for the display that could fuel Conner Prairie's success and build upon our iconic display as part of a larger, more interactive experience at Conner Prairie.
Our Christmas lights display was born out of the Reynolds' family love for Christmas and our community. It has continued to evolve since the first lights went on in 1991, and today's announcement continues that evolution with a unique opportunity to join Conner Prairie to share the spirit and celebration of Christmas.
Look for more information as the Christmas season nears on how we'll continue to work closely with our community and Conner Prairie to make the most of A Merry Prairie Holiday.
