MulchControl puts the operator in control of the clippings. The operator can have all the benefits of mulching with the ability to easily change to side discharge when needed.

While in the side-discharge mode, MulchControl still mulches about one-third of the material. Therefore, the side-discharge mode is essentially a partial-mulch mode. John Deere riding lawn mowers are equipped with a QR code label that links to an owner support website. The label can be found on the rear fender, to the left of the seat.

The owner support website is formatted for smart phones and available without setting up an account and password. The QR code includes the mower’s serial number, enabling the owner support website to provide a maintenance schedule, service parts, attachments, how-to guide, videos, warranty information, and an operator’s manual for the specific mower.

The owner support website also allows users to purchase service parts, schedule dealer service, purchase extended warranties, and download the Equipment Mobile app. The Equipment Mobile app enables users to maintain a shared digital service record with their dealer.

Convenient service interval decal

A convenient service interval decal provides basic maintenance information. It provides a quick reference for keeping recommended service up to date.

Mower deck access

The footrest area is hinged and easily raised for service to mower deck:

• No tools are needed to lift footrest
• Easy to clean grass off the top of the mower
• Provides convenient access to the mower drive

Engine service

The engines are easy to service, including changing the oil and the oil filter and servicing the air filter.

Accel Deep Mower Decks have several features that make them easy to service:

• Flat-top design minimizes places for debris to collect.
• Spring-loaded, flip-up belt guards make removing debris easy.

Equipment Mobile includes comprehensive maintenance plans for each piece of your equipment. The maintenance plan screen keeps track of completed tasks, provides a place for your notes, and provides parts listings. A smart connector links the mower to the Equipment Mobile App and transmits vehicle information via Bluetooth® wireless technology to provide:

Optional BUC10537 smart connector is for use with:

Hours, fuel level, key switch status, and battery level are updated whenever the mower’s key is turned on and the Equipment Mobile device is in range of a mower with a BUC10537 smart connector. The X350R Tractor does not report exact fuel level, it only indicates if the mower is low on fuel.

The Z370R, Z370RS, and Z380R Electric ZTrak Mowers include the smart connector in base equipment.

On Electric ZTrak Mowers the battery level, charging status, and hours are transmitted when the Equipment Mobile device is in range of the mower, and the mower is on or actively charging. Equipment Mobile can also update an Electric ZTrak Mower’s controller software.

A smart connector requires the Equipment Mobile App. The John Deere Equipment Mobile App can be found in the mobile device’s app store.
